After a few listens to this tired eurodance track I started to exeprience convulsions. Cascada's "Everytime We Touch" is making every gay man in the nation wet. On this note, I will leave you with the shlocky dance song that is this week's bubbling under. It is somewhat "funny" that none of our underplayed artists are African American. #8 this week is Natasha Bedingfield with "Unwritten." This solid pop track is gaining ground in digital sales, but her airplay is not picking up as well. Well, at least the girl knows how to party. Her first "Confessions" single though rises to #20 this week in digital sales, which prompts the song to jump three spots on our underplayed tunes chart. Her sophomore album is an official dud selling just barely north of 80,000 copies this week in the U.S. Lindsay Lohan is not having a good time (on the charts at least). #4 is worth mentioning as "Dance, Dance" by Fall Out Boy is rising on the airways (2 months too late I should add) hence this translates into a two position drop for the band. As a side note, "Hung Up" has become Madonna's biggest single in the UK since "Like a Prayer" in 1989 by holding 5 weeks inside Top-3 there. James Blunt is not the right color for the radio at this moment.Īt #3 we have Ma(ma)donna rising two spots to her highest position yet due to the fact that the airplay for her "Hung Up" song is drying up quickly in the Pop format (holding steady for AC though) and the digital single is still Top 5. If someone like Mario re-did this track, I have a feeling it would be a #1 airplay hit as we speak. We do have a new #1 this week in the shape of the James Blunt's international smash hit "You're Beatiful." The single breaks Top 3 digital sales in the US this week, but the radio is mum on this one stateside.

There are a bunch of Xmas tracks flooding the digital singles market place so we will have to wait until the season is over to see some action.
